Sale Pending-PRS Eddie's Guitars Wood Library Studio Brazilian / Rosewood Neck - Jade #422137

The PRS Eddie’s Guitars Wood Library Studio Brazilian / Rosewood Neck – Jade is a refined, tone-forward instrument that blends boutique aesthetics with serious, all-purpose performance. Built as part of Eddie’s Guitars exclusive Wood Library run, this Studio model reflects a carefully curated selection of premium tonewoods and modern PRS engineering, resulting in a guitar that feels effortlessly playable while offering a wide, expressive tonal palette. Finished in a rich Jade hue, this instrument balances elegance and edge with unmistakable PRS character.

At the heart of the guitar is a striking Quilted Maple Ten Top, chosen for its depth and figure, paired with a resonant Korina back that enhances clarity, midrange presence, and harmonic bloom. The East Indian Rosewood neck adds warmth and sustain, while the Brazilian Rosewood fretboard delivers exceptional note definition and a luxurious, smooth feel under the fingers. The 25" scale length and 22-fret layout provide familiar PRS snap and balance, making this guitar equally comfortable for rhythm work, expressive lead playing, and intricate chord voicings.

Playability is a standout feature thanks to the comfortable Pattern neck carve, with a neck depth of 7/8" at the 1/2 fret and 61/64" at the 12 1/2 fret, offering a substantial yet ergonomic feel. A 10" radius, 1 11/16" nut width, and 2 1/4" width at the body ensure smooth transitions across the fretboard and effortless string bending. Visually, the guitar is elevated by Eddie’s exclusive Wood Library “J-Birds” fretboard inlays, featuring gold Mother of Pearl outlines with Paua centers, adding a custom, high-end touch that sets this instrument apart.

Tonally, the Studio pickup configuration delivers exceptional versatility. A McCarty III pickup in the treble position provides articulate highs and vintage-inspired bite, while PRS Narrowfield pickups in the middle and bass positions offer focused low end, clarity, and a unique single-coil-meets-humbucker character. The electronics layout includes a master volume and push/pull tone control, paired with a 5-way blade switch, allowing players to access everything from sparkling cleans to full, harmonically rich drive with ease.

Completing the package is PRS’s rock-solid hardware, including the PRS Patented Gen III Tremolo, Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons, and sleek smoked black hardware that perfectly complements the Jade finish. Set up with PRS Signature 10–46 strings and housed in a hard black paisley case, the PRS Eddie’s Guitars Wood Library Studio Brazilian / Rosewood Neck – Jade is a thoughtfully crafted instrument that excels on stage, in the studio, and in any serious collection.
