The Alpha is a seriously flexible high-end compressor that’s great for mix finishing, stem work, and of course excels as an industry-leading tool for mastering. It can stay super clean and transparent, or add classy weight and tone via the transformer options and clipping controls. The built-in M/S matrix makes it especially useful for stereo shaping, tightening the low end, and fine-tuning balances at the final stage.

It’s one of those boxes that just feels confident and finished when you patch it in - precise, musical, and very much designed as a “final polish” tool. Typical elysia quality throughout.

Physically, it’s built like an absolute tank - very heavy, very solid, and clearly over-engineered in the best way.
