Roland JC-120H Head - Relisted 8/5/2026 - terrific and rare vintage classic JC-120H standing for head version of this amp. Purchased last year and played a few shows with it out, as well as in our band studio. Used for recording as well and feel wise, incredibly close to that tube amp thing, with so much less of the maintenance issues. I haven't had a problem with it whatsoever. Nothing. Amp must have two amp cabs connected (stereo) to effectively use the chorus switch, as advertised in the manual.

The chorus is ridiculously lush and it's what the pedals try to emulate, but nothing is quite as rich. I've owned a vintage Roland CE-1 and that's as close as you'll get, but has the always on pre-amp engaged always made it a bit dirty for my liking. The headroom on this amp is great. 60w SS per side and you can run it mono obviously too. I did that when I gigged and you have both the HI & LOW channel for more, or less DBs.

My favorite amp. I'm going to miss this one dearly and probably won't come across another for a while. Your treat though. DM ME ABOUT SHIPPING. Haven't decided whether I want to or not yet.

VOLUME: slight scratch as you turn the pot - doesn't cut out, just low noise underlying scratch.
