The Ibanez ALT50FATVT Altstar takes the comfort and attitude of an electric and pours it into an acoustic you’ll actually want to keep on your shoulder all night. Dressed in a Transparent Violet Sunburst High Gloss finish, it’s the kind of guitar that looks as bold as the riffs it inspires.

This Altstar is built for players who live on the electric side but need an acoustic that feels familiar. The compact body and sleek Altstar neck make it easy to rip chords and leads without fighting thick necks or oversized bodies. The Transparent Violet Sunburst finish shows off the top while the high gloss sheen gives it a stage-ready presence under lights.

Ibanez designed this model with playability front and center, so it feels quick, comfortable, and immediately intuitive if you’re coming from solidbody electrics. It’s the kind of acoustic that makes long sets, writing sessions, and couch jams feel effortless.

Plugged in or unplugged, this guitar leans into a focused, modern acoustic voice—clear enough to cut through a mix, with a tight low end that doesn’t get boomy. Strummed hard, it delivers punchy rhythm tones that sit nicely with drums and bass; played lightly, it responds with articulate, chiming highs that suit fingerstyle and picked arpeggios. It’s built to handle everything from percussive pop rhythms to driving rock progressions without getting muddy.
