Godin 5th Avenue TL Kingpin P90 Hollowbody Electric Guitar, Ebony Fingerboard, Vintage Burst

Handcrafted in Canada, the 5th Avenue Thin Line features a concert hall-shaped body constructed entirely from Canadian wild cherry, including the arched top, back, and sides. This premium domestic tonewood delivers a warm, balanced frequency response with natural resonance and vintage sweetness that honors classic hollowbody tradition. The thinline design reduces body depth to minimize acoustic feedback while maintaining rich harmonic complexity and excellent projection, making this guitar equally suited for intimate club performances and larger stage environments. The set-neck construction utilizes silver leaf maple paired with a luxurious ebony fingerboard, creating a playing surface that combines smooth responsiveness with exceptional sustain. The 24.84-inch scale length provides slightly reduced string tension compared to traditional 25.5-inch scales, resulting in a comfortable playing feel with enhanced bendability. With 21 medium frets across a 16-inch radius fingerboard and a 1.72-inch nut width, the neck profile accommodates both intricate chord voicings and fluid single-note passages with equal comfort.Godin's Kingpin P90 single-coil pickups in both neck and bridge positions deliver the articulate vintage character that P90s are celebrated for, offering warm midrange punch with sparkling high-end clarity. The simple yet effective control layout features dedicated volume and tone knobs paired with a three-way toggle switch, providing intuitive access to both pickup voices independently or blended together. Premium Graph Tech appointments including a TUSQ adjustable bridge with brass saddles, trapeze tailpiece, and TUSQ nut ensure optimal string vibration transfer and reliable intonation across the entire fingerboard.
