Up for sale is a beautiful 2008 Gibson Les Paul Special Edition Dark Fire, professionally modified (“de-roboted”) for traditional playability. Finished in the exclusive Dark Fire Red flame maple top (unique to this run), with a mahogany body and mahogany neck, ebony fretboard, and carbon fiber–style inlays and design accents.

Pickup configuration:

• P90H in the neck
• Burstbucker 3 in the bridge
  Both feature the original carbon fiber design covers.

Electronics & hardware details:

• Original piezo bridge and tailpiece installed (piezo not connected)
• Added kill switch (Buckethead style)
• Hand-wired CTS pots with Orange Drop capacitor
• Two volume controls and one master tone
• 3-way toggle switch with carbon fiber control plate
• Hipshot locking tuners with black tulip buttons (can be swapped back to the original barrel buttons upon request)
• Loxx strap locks

Condition is player grade, with a few small marks and light scratches, purely cosmetic. Overall in good condition with no breaks, cracks, or repairs, and nothing that affects playability. Recently adjusted, cleaned, conditioned, and fully set up — plays great.
