I’m offering for sale my Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue in Southern Fade VOS, built in 2025. THE GUITAR IS ALSO VISIBLE IN NYC UPPER EAST SIDE. The full price at GC store is $ 6,999.

This guitar was purchased new at Guitar Center Manhattan in November 2025 and has been kept exclusively as part of my personal collection. It has been virtually never played. This guitar is still under regular warranty . The guy at the store told me 300 pieces were built one this custom shop order.

But a conversation between him and Gibson’s Sales Manager states that the number of pieces for this type of specification is generally 30 (see the attached screenshot).

The color is particularly beautiful and lively, shifting from deep red to brown depending on light incidence, exactly as a great Southern Fade should. Under different lighting conditions, the top shows continuous tonal variation and depth.

Condition & disclosure

The headstock has a very small ding, which was already present at the time of purchase. For this reason, Guitar Center applied a discount at checkout.
For full transparency, this minor very small cosmetic issue will be professionally repaired by a luthier. The imperfection is purely cosmetic and has no impact on structural integrity, playability, or tone.

Aside from this, the guitar is exceptionally clean, with no play wear, no buckle rash, and no signs of regular use. The sound is amazing.

This instrument would have a manufacturing date of January 31, 2025.
