A gorgeous Telecaster from the Fender Custom Shop!
The pinnacle within the Fender catalogue, the Custom Shop has been putting out incredibly well constructed examples ever since their founding in 1987. Most known for their exquisite recreations of vintage examples, they've also been known to put out more modern leaning instruments for those not after a relic job. The Custom Classic features an ash body finished in a vibrant Sienna burst. An exceptionally flamed birdseye maple neck is present and sports a contemporary feeling 9.5" fretboard radius. A four-way switch is present and under the hood appears to be untouched wiring and the original set of Custom Shop pickups. A fun player and great entry point into the Fender Custom Shop eco system!
Cosmetic condition is fair with play wear present throughout consisting of pick wear, minor dings, and hairline scratching. There is a notable ding on the back of the body near the neck plate, as well as stable hairline finish cracks emanating from both sides of the neck pocket. A minor gash can be seen at the 6th fret on the low E string side. Frets show light divoting in the lowest few frets, but otherwise plays beautifully up and down the neck. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes the original hardcase and custom care booklet. No COA included.
* Please note a 10% Reverb & PayPal fee has been added to the listing price.
