This deluge is in full working order with only minor cosmetic issues. It updated to the most recent firmware and there isn't a single button, knob, or component that malfunctions.

Now that the basics are out of the way, I want to express how much I truly love this device. It is one of the best all in one solutions I've ever owned. You can do everything from using this device for analog waveform synthesis, use it as a sequencer/midi controller, use it as a sampler, record tracks with it from other equipment, you can even create an entire song that doesn't sound flat from this device alone, and most importantly, it's an incredibly easy to use sketchpad for jotting down ideas. It's got an amazing battery meaning you can use it anywhere and it has onboard speakers (though they don't sound very good). You never know how much you appreciate batteries on gear until you use a device like this. Did I mention that firmware is open source, meaning that new rollouts are constantly happening, expanding the scope and ability of this device on a regular basis? New rollout features happen multiple times a year!

Now for the cons. The GUI takes some time to get used to, as it's not the easiest to navigate. Luckily a few hours of manual reading or a day watching YouTube tutorials will have you covered. Additionally it's a bit of a jack of all trades seeming like it might not excel at any one thing, however it is pretty close to being a master at being a sequencer/midi controller.

So why am I getting rid of this? I've decided to offload a lot of gear as a means of reducing GAS, as a creative challenge, and in order to cut back on how many objects I own; pursuing a bit more of a minimalist lifestyle. Though I'm sad to see this device go, I'm ecstatic that it'll soon be in the hands of someone who will hopefully appreciate it as much as I did.
