50s and 60s Guild guitars, acoustic and electric, are the most underrated tone machines ever built. This 1967 Guild F-20 is not only one of the sweetest sounding guitars I've ever played, but its volume and tonal range are far beyond its size. It's in excellent condition with tiny dings, a capo rash on the back of the neck, see pix, and a very small, 1" pickguard crack, stable. The frets, neck, tuners, the whole dang thang plays like a parlor-sized dream: X-braced, thin braces that let that top vibrate! The neck, back, and sides are solid mahogany with a solid spruce top. The specs are: 24 5/8" scale, 13 11/16" lower bout, 10 1/8" upper bout, 4 1/8" body depth at the base, 1 9/16" nut, with an 18 1/16" body length. The The neck is straight, frets are perfect, and the action at the 12th fret measures 3/32" on the bass side, 1/16" on the treble side. It's never had a neck reset and doesn't need one. And even better than how this plays is what it sounds like! The original case is nicer than a chipboard case, lined and tough enough to take to gigs. This is a terrific guitar.
