The EVH SA-126 Special represents Wolfgang Van Halen's vision of modern guitar design—a chambered hybrid body combining semi-hollow resonance with solid-body stability. Built with a mahogany body, basswood centerblock, and maple top, it delivers rich tone across genres.
The 24.75" scale neck features a 12"-16" compound ebony fingerboard with jumbo frets for comfortable playability and fast lead work. Custom EVH pickups by Tim Shaw handle everything from crystalline cleans to high-gain overdrive, controlled via three-way toggle and dual volume/tone knobs.
