Up for sale is a rare and vibey Gibson Hawk tube combo from the mid-1960s. Produced for a short window between 1966 and 1967, the Hawk features the iconic "flipped" or tapered cabinet style that makes these amps stand out in any collection.
This amp is a fantastic choice for studio work or small club dates, offering that classic American tube compression and a grit that breaks up beautifully as you crank the volume.

Built-in Effects: Foot-switchable Tremolo and Reverb (Intensity/Depth controls on the faceplate).
Speaker: Original 10" speaker (referencing the frame style in the photos).
Faceplate: Woodgrain finish with classic silver-capped Gibson "top hat" knobs.
Controls: Volume (with On/Off power), Tone, Tremolo, and Reverb.
Inputs: Two 1/4" inputs (Channel 1 and 2).
Aesthetic: Original black Tolex and salt-and-pepper grill cloth.
Condition:
This amp is in Very Good vintage condition.
Cosmetics: The Tolex shows some light scuffing and honest wear consistent with its age (see photos of the side panels), but the grill cloth is tight and the faceplate is remarkably clean.
Functionality: All knobs turn smoothly. The tremolo is lush and the reverb adds a great sense of space.
