Guitar is in near Mint condition, played at home only and very little at that, which is the reason I am selling it. (Too many guitars - and yet never enough!) It feels and sounds as much more expensive instruments.

This Yamaha continues on the path of original vintage Red Label series back in the 60-ties. The build quality is great as expected from a Japan built product. Guitar is based on traditional combination of Sitka Spruce/Mahogany, voiced nicely using scalloped bracing for a louder and more balanced tone. It plays very easy and it has been setup great right in the factory.

FSX5 concert size and shape is a good fit for players who prefer a smaller body and slightly brighter sound to complement strumming and fingerpicking with 1960s aesthetics and modern craftsmanship culminating over 50 years of Yamaha guitar development.
