This Lowden S-35 (Serial No. 22316), built with Madagascar rosewood back and sides and an Alpine spruce top, is in excellent condition and features fast, low action that plays cleanly across the entire fingerboard. It comes from a carefully curated personal collection assembled over many decades by a lifelong guitarist and close friend, who selected instruments for their tone, feel, and individuality.
He has recently passed away, and this guitar is now being offered so it may continue its life in the hands of someone who will play and appreciate it as he did.
For full transparency, detailed photos are included showing string action and spacing measurements. The guitar also comes with its original Lowden hard case with keys. The only notable cosmetic issue is a very small nick on the headstock near the 5th-string tuning post, which is shown in the photos.
This is not a quick sale or a flip—this instrument was intentionally chosen, carefully maintained, and deserves a worthy next home.
