I'm the original owner of this 15-year-old beauty. It has a P-style pickup and a J-style pickup, so your tonal options are huge. It's shape is, to me, a hard-to-find balance between the classic Fender shape and the more fluid contemporary shapes. It leans towards a tulip shape in my eyes.
It was set up at Ludlow Guitars on the Lower East Side, and from the moment I picked it up it has sung beautifully. The neck is tapered nicely, and the action on it is unbelievable.
Everything on it is stock except the jack plate; the original one was plastic and eventually cracked with normal playing. You can still see one screw hole from the original oval plate (pictured). Other than that, there are only a couple of tiny dings in the paint.
You'll fall in love with the smooth-and-low-down of it all...
Gigbag, strap included.
