Yamaha is praised about MegaVoice and Super Articulation technology on this keyboard and how realistic the various voices and drum kits sound. You can hear the unique characteristics of the various instruments, such as the breathy legato phrasing of the saxophone, the expressive finger slides and hammer-ons and other applications on guitar are also there on the keyboard. Features such as multiple samples across the keyboard with sophisticated changes which results in very realistic sounds. With the the MegaVoice feature, performance techniques are used along with the basic samples of the instrument. Just connect a microphone or your guitar to your keyboard and record your performance to a USB storage device. Singers can add harmony to your voice with a feature actually called Vocal Harmony, backup harmony parts are automatically added to your lead singing that reacts to the chords that you play on the Yamaha PSR S900. You can even change the gender of the harmony voices from male to female and vice versa. This feature is very useful if you're working on your own or in a band, the choice is yours. There is also a video out plug for karaoke on a separate large screen or monitor, so your audience can sing along with you. There is a Music Finder that instantly calls up the best-suited voices, tempo and accompaniment styles to match the music style or song name you want to play. You don't have to waste time choosing settings when you want to play in a particular genre, simply call up a song title and Music Finder sets it up for you to play. The Yamaha PSR S900 can also connect directly to the internet which is good if you want to get all those karaoke songs fast if someone asks you to play a particular song. This keyboard offers a lot for a professional performer alone, a band member, or in a studio setting, and of course at home. The keyboard has had a brand new replacement screen fitted and set up about 3 years ago at a cost of over £300 and has had hardly any use since. This is a great bit of kit, a Portatone, a synthesiser, an organ and an electronic keyboard. It is in great condition and comes with stand, carry bag and music reader/holder. Do not confuse this with original keyboards, this is the PSR S900, far superior to the earlier models it also has a replacement screen fitted. Many of the ones you see advertised tend to have problems in that area - this one is perfect. Also, you will find a lot of secondhand ones have different functions that don't work - everything is good on this one. £899 or very near offer.
