Over the years, Fender has put out some amazing limited edition guitars, including ones that are incredible values at their price points.  This one may take the cake as the best yet.  Here we have a new Gold Foil Collection Jazzmaster, done as a Fender Special Run for indpendent dealers only.
Of course the first thing you'll notice is the eye catching Black Sparkle finish.  It's going to stand out on any stage while still retaining a bit of restraint.  Plus, has a cool vintage vibe thanks to the tortoiseshell pickguard.  The matching headstock is was really tops it off, literally.
The next thing you'll notice is the pickup configuration - it's a triple Gold Foil Mini Humbucker job, which is definiately something you don't see every day.  They give you a bright, clear tone, with a lot of articulation.  A lot of players dig the single coil chime with hum-cancelling, and a nice woody tone.  These are lower ouput pickups with a glass-like high end that still have a full bass response.  If you like a woody, vintage tone, these pickups are a great way to go.
The maple neck as a comfortable 60's C profile, with binding.  For a unique twist, this one has an ebony fretboard (9.5" radius).  A nice added touch is the white pearloid block inlays.  
Other features include a Jazzmaster bridge with Mustag saddles, and vintage-style tuning machines with white buttons.  The guitar comes with a gig bag.
