Neck & Fretboard

• Nut Width: 1.795" (45.6mm). This is considerably wider than the traditional 1.695" (43mm), offering more spacing between strings but a very different feel.
• Nut: Zero Fret Adjustable Nut (Patent Applied For). Made of cryogenically treated brass (later replaced by titanium on warranty claims due to wear). It allows for height adjustment and improved sustain.
• Fingerboard: One-piece, thick Rosewood (oiled and buffed).
• Fretboard Radius: Compound Radius (10" – 16") for easier chording at the nut and bending at high frets.
• Inlays: Mother of Pearl Trapezoids.
• Neck Profile: SlimTaper™ Asymmetrical. Thinner on the treble side, thicker on the bass side for ergonomic comfort.
• Frets: 22 frets (lower profile than usual).

Body & Construction

• Top: AAA Figured Maple (Premium Quilt tops were also available on specific runs).
• Body: Mahogany with Modern Weight Relief (routing chambers inside the body to reduce weight while maintaining resonance).
• Binding: Cream binding.
• Finish: High-gloss Lacquer (Candy finishes).
• Pickguard: Removable Clip-on Pickguard (No screws were drilled into the body for the pickguard).

Electronics (Pickups & Wiring)

The 2015 Standard featured a versatile PCB-based control layout.

• Pickups:
• • Neck: Burstbucker Pro Rhythm
  • Bridge: Burstbucker Pro Lead
  • Magnets: Alnico V (for a brighter, more "biting" vintage tone).
• Controls: 2 Volume, 2 Tone, 3-way toggle switch.
• Push/Pull Functions:
• • Volume Knobs: Coil-Tap (Splits the humbucker to a single-coil sound).
  • Neck Tone: Phase Switching (Out-of-phase "Peter Green" style tone when both pickups are active).
  • Bridge Tone: Pure Bypass (Routes the bridge pickup directly to the output jack, bypassing all volume and tone circuits for maximum raw output).

Hardware

• Tuners: G-Force™ Automatic Tuning System (Robot Tuners). These battery-operated tuners physically turn the pegs to tune the guitar automatically.
• Bridge: Tune-o-matic with Titanium saddles.
• Tailpiece: Stopbar.
• Knobs: Gold Speed Knobs (notched for grip).
• Output Jack: Redesigned multi-contact jack for a more secure cable hold.
