NDG Unplayed Condition
At Nick's Drum Gear, unplayed means the cymbal has never been owned or played by an end user. Many of our cymbals originate from factory cymbal packs, giving them a known history from day one. Because they do not include a manufacturer's warranty, they are represented as unplayed rather than new.

This 16" SABIAN HHX Evolution Crash is in pristine, unplayed condition and presents exactly as received from the factory. Carefully inspected and stored, it shows no signs of use and retains its full factory character.

Developed with Dave Weckl, the HHX Evolution Crash is voiced to deliver a fast, shimmering response with a smooth, musical envelope. Its thin profile produces a buttery feel under the stick, while the HHX hammering adds projection and clarity that allow it to cut without sounding harsh.

Sound Profile

• Attack: Fast and glassy with immediate bloom

Nick’s Notes

This is a classic Evolution Crash voice. It opens instantly, feels soft under the stick, and never turns brittle. If you want a crash that responds at low volume but still carries when needed, this 16" is a workhorse.
