This made in Japan Epiphone SG-70 plays and sounds great! These were available exclusively for the Japanese Domestic market and are very hard to come by. This example has been modded, with the bridge pickup swapped for a Seymour Duncan SH-4, which sounds awesome and compliments this guitar well.  

This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish chips throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. There's also a large imprint still on the back of the body from where a sticker had been placed at one point in time. The binding around the neck and fret inlays have yellowed from over time and the hardware shows normal tarnishing. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should. 

The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan SH-4 and the pickguard and knobs are also later  replacements. The pickups are currently reading a DC resistance of 16k ohms in the bridge and 7.2k ohms in the neck.
