Discontinued JHS Ross distortion in mint condition with original box and papers.
This pedal looks aweseom, sounds awesome and works perfectly. The JHS silicon/germanium switch on the side is a great improvement over the original, completely changing the feel of the distortion.
From JHS:
Experience the dawn of a new era with the latest ROSS pedals. Meticulously crafted through extensive research and design efforts, this pedal pays homage to the iconic legacy and signature sound that has made the original ROSS brand a timeless favorite among guitarists and collectors worldwide. With five revered ROSS circuits, this series caters to every player's preferences.
Embodying the classic ROSS style, each pedal is expertly manufactured at the esteemed JHS Pedals facility in Kansas City, MO, ensuring the same uncompromising quality standards you've come to rely upon. Remarkable advancements over the vintage units include a soft touch bypass, reduced noise levels, and a mode switch featuring two settings, adding even more versatility to your playing experience.
At its core, the ROSS Distortion harnesses the power of an op-amp hard clipper, embracing the revered 1970s topology used in legendary pedals like the MXR Distortion Plus, the DOD 250, the Proco RAT, and the BOSS DS-1. While versatile enough for any musical scenario, this pedal truly excels in producing organic, tube-like overdrive distortion, effortlessly pushing your amplifier into a natural state of breakup.
