A true “origin of the Steve Vai sound,” this is a highly coveted collector’s piece that fans dream of owning.

First released in 1993, the model underwent various minor changes and remained in production until 2019. Among them, the early examples have always commanded exceptional popularity. The instrument just arrived is nothing short of miraculous, presented in truly outstanding condition.

Its classic alder body finished in white embodies the quintessential 1990s Ibanez aesthetic. The deeply sculpted cutaways, ultra-thin neck, and effortless high-position access made possible by the All Access Neck Joint are hallmarks of its technical-oriented design. Iconic JEM features such as the Tree of Life inlay and the Monkey Grip provide striking visual impact and deeply satisfy the desire of ownership.

According to the previous owner’s preference, the pickups, pickguard, and high-pass capacitor were removed, and the selector switch has been replaced. However, all original parts have been carefully preserved and are included.

The current switch configuration is as follows:

1: Center

2: Center + Front

3: Front

4: Front + Rear

5: Rear

For a 1994 instrument, it remains in astonishingly clean condition. There are virtually no noticeable scratches, and it even retains an almost brand-new aura. It is exceedingly rare to encounter an early model in such pristine shape.

Crowned at the pinnacle of Steve Vai’s gear lineup, the JEM7V WH stands here in ultimate collector’s condition. We look forward to your inquiry.
