Few modern acoustic players have made an impression quite like Molly Tuttle. With her flatpicking prowess, clear tone, and fearless musicality, she’s redefined what it means to be a modern acoustic guitarist — so it’s only fitting that her signature guitar does the same. The Martin D-18 Molly Tuttle Signature Model is a vintage-inspired dreadnought that honors both Martin’s legacy and Tuttle’s forward-thinking artistry.

Modeled after her cherished 1943 D-18, this signature dreadnought captures the punch and clarity of the golden-era Martins with its rearward-shifted scalloped X-bracing, solid spruce top, and mahogany back and sides. But it’s the details that set this guitar apart — from the authentic 1941 neck profile and 1-11/16" nut width that caters to bluegrass flatpickers, to the custom moon phase inlays, silver Martin headstock logo, and oval vintage-style tuners. Available now at Haggerty’s Music, it’s a visually distinctive instrument that feels broken-in and road-ready from the first strum.

Finished in a rich vintage sunburst gloss, the Molly Tuttle D-18 balances tradition and individuality — just like its namesake. The included light blue molded hardshell case adds a nostalgic touch, calling back to Martin’s artist instruments from the 1970s. Whether you’re a devoted flatpicker, a songwriter seeking nuance, or simply a fan of Molly’s work, this is a rare opportunity to own a uniquely expressive dreadnought that plays as beautifully as it looks.
