i had an old Indian made taisho goto that had a rotten body. It was falling apart. So I cut a new solid body for it and reworked the whole thing. Now you have one of the heaviest most substantial rock TaishoKotos ever made. You could hammer a nail with this thing. It’s got a guitar style output and volume and tone knobs and is ready to destroy western music. Make sure to check the video below to hear it rocking. All the stuff this thing is made out of is old (at least 40 years old at this point) so there are bumps and scrapes all over but it’s solid as a rock and ready to go!
