The Ibanez RGD621AH is a purpose-built baritone designed for modern players who demand tight low-end response, extended-range clarity, and aggressive playability. Finished in a stealthy Midnight Shade Flat, this RGD delivers the signature Ibanez feel while pushing into heavier, lower-tuned territory with confidence and precision.

At the heart of the instrument is a 26.5” baritone scale length, optimized for down-tuned performance and exceptional string tension. The fast Wizard III 5-piece Panga Panga/Walnut neck offers a slim, comfortable profile that stays stable under aggressive playing, measuring 19mm at the 1st fret and 21mm at the 12th fret. Paired with a smooth Macassar ebony fretboard, 400mm radius, and 24 jumbo frets, the RGD621AH feels effortless whether you’re executing tight rhythm work or soaring lead lines.

The resonant okoume body is topped with ash, adding snap and definition to the low end while keeping the overall response balanced and articulate. A rock-solid Gibraltar Standard III bridge ensures excellent sustain, precise intonation, and dependable tuning stability, further reinforced by Gotoh MG-T locking tuners.

Electronics are handled by a set of DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbuckers, delivering a focused, aggressive voice with tight lows and crisp highs—perfect for modern metal and progressive styles. A coil-tap switch expands the tonal palette, offering cleaner, more articulate single-coil-style sounds when needed, while luminescent side dots keep you oriented on dark stages.

Built to handle lower tunings without compromise, the RGD621AH is a formidable baritone workhorse with unmistakable Ibanez speed and authority.
