Celebrating SCANDAL’s 15th anniversary in 2021, this is the Haruna Telecaster® Boost, the latest signature model from HARUNA, vocalist and guitarist of one of Japan’s most internationally successful rock bands. Designed to meet the wide-ranging demands of SCANDAL’s catalog—from heavy rock anthems to pop-driven and ballad-oriented material—this instrument is a true modern artist Telecaster.
Finished in a striking Arctic White, the mahogany body features custom pearl binding that pairs beautifully with the silver hardware and matching headstock, giving the guitar an elegant yet powerful stage presence.
Tonally, this model departs from traditional Telecaster territory in the best possible way. A mahogany body, Adjusto-Matic™ bridge with anchored tailpiece, and a set of Shawbucker™ humbuckers (1T neck / 2T bridge) deliver a thick, punchy, and high-output sound with excellent clarity—ideal for high-gain rock while retaining articulation for clean and pop styles.
The maple neck is finished in smooth satin polyurethane and features a slim “C” shape, vintage-style frets, and 7.25" radius, offering a comfortable, fast-playing feel. Pearloid block inlays, matched to the body binding, add a refined visual touch that sets this model apart.
As the name “BOOST” suggests, this Telecaster is built to push forward—combining power, versatility, and Haruna’s personal specifications into a distinctive Made in Japan Artist model.
