NOS Audio prototype C84MPT Tube Condenser Microphone ( Neumann km84 groove tubes gt-44 warm wa-84 )

This is a final stage 1 of 1 prototype Mic from our good friends at NOS Audio. This is a very rare piece as it was never introduced publicly or put into production. Its an excellent sounding clone of the Neumann k-84 with a small twist, its a tube mic. The mic is in new condition and has only been tested never put into the field in a studio. It sounds alot like a km84 but with a less brittle high end and a slightly deeper low end bump, not to say it is dull or lacking in high end response by any means. As an overhead on kit, Cymbals shimmer and toms thump. It’s really a great piece and i wish they would have gone full production with this idea.
