From Taylor:

"Limited in its worldwide release, this Taylor 810e Legacy Special Edition augments the brand’s nostalgic Legacy lineup with a plethora of custom-spec appointments. First and foremost of these is a shortened 24.875-inch scale length — a spec occasionally found on 810s in the Bob Taylor era, offering guitarists a slinkier, more bend-friendly feel. Players who champion the bass-rich drawl of a traditional dread are sure to be drawn to this 6-string’s slightly deeper-than-usual, square-shouldered body, comprising a torrefied Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, and old-school X-bracing. It’s just about the most iconic tonewood combo in Taylor’s arsenal, ready to tackle everything from fierce flatpicking runs to intimate fingerstyle with lush overtones, crisp clarity, and a booming low-end thump. In addition, the Taylor 810e’s Legacy Standard Carve mahogany neck supports a bound ebony fingerboard laden with stunning “Cindy” inlays. You also get LR Baggs Element VTC electronics that make it a breeze to light up any stage. A beaming Heritage Burst finish puts the finishing touch on this Taylor 810e Legacy Special Edition, totaling up to a show-stopping example of acoustic artistry that both pays tribute to and builds upon Bob Taylor’s lauded legacy."
