PureSound Twisted Series 13" Snare Wires – Premium Steel-Alloy Construction for Studio Clarity The PureSound Twisted Series snare wires deliver exceptional control and tonal definition for 13" snare drums. Built from 40 strands of premium-grade steel-alloy wire arranged in dual-coiled pairs—totaling 20 effective strands—these wires operate at lower tension than conventional snare wires. This reduced tension requirement minimizes unwanted sympathetic buzz from toms and bass guitar, making them ideal for studio recording where precision and isolation matter most. The result is a crisp, dry articulation with minimal sustain that cuts through a mix without muddiness. Engineered for consistent response across the entire head, the evenly spaced wire configuration ensures balanced sensitivity and predictable feel. Whether you're tracking in the studio or performing live, these American-made wires provide the responsiveness and tonal character that serious drummers demand. Key Features
