The Intro Series StingRay is the front door into the Sterling by Music Man family — classic StingRay attitude without the intimidation factor. At its core is a single ceramic humbucking pickup paired with passive electronics, delivering that familiar punchy low end with enough versatility to cover practice, rehearsal, and first gigs without drama.
A narrow 38mm nut width, contoured body, and satin-finished hard maple neck make the RAY2 comfortable and easy to play from the first note. It’s a bass that feels welcoming rather than demanding — ideal for newer players, or anyone who just wants a straightforward, no-nonsense StingRay-style instrument that gets on with the job.
