                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 You are looking at a brand new (never used) classic Shure Brothers dynamic cardioid microphones from 2026 that comes complete with all original accessories as seen in the pics provided. SM58 model is factory set at low impedance with a very rugged design and studio sound quality. This SM58 goes back to the 1960's and continues to be one of the most desirable mics available.

 Pic # 2 shows an older SM58 in a Shure catalog I have along with the mics basic characteristics.

 This mic was used by almost every musician and broadcaster under the sun. A favorite model for Bruce Springsteen for almost a decade and you'll see in pic # 3 a young Donna Summers using one live while performing. The newer SM-58's have been made in China for the past 25 years but the earlier ones were made in America until the 1980's.

 Pic # 4 & 5 shows the invoice sheet from Shure Brothers that came with the 5 mics I received and I'll be listing all 5 SM-58's over the next few days.

 It should be noted that there are several sellers on Ebay who are selling "new in box" SM-58's for around $60.00. They are all generic microphones that look identical to the actual mic but the elements are inferior and they sound terrible. Never buy an SM-58 unless you know it's from an authorized dealer or you know for a fact that it's a genuine model. 

 I received these 5 mics total for an old spring mic. The museum curator at Shure Brothers will from time to time ask for an old piece to display in their museum and we'll do a trade in the form of brand new SM-58's. That is how I cam upon the last batch of five mics. The real brand new SM-58's are selling for well over $100.00 so my asking price is very reasonable. 

 The SM-58 makes this mic ideal piece for general broadcasting and singing. The SM-58 has a very warm, smooth tone with a fair amount of bass. Excellent uni-directional characteristics as well. These mics are built like tanks and properly taken care of there is no reason this mic can't last 100 years. A real workhorse and one of the most rugged Shure mics ever built.

  As you can see the mic is flawless. It was only removed from the mic case to get a few detailed photos of what you are getting. Again, everything is included except for the mic stand.

 The mic comes with the original mic clip, data sheet, mic pouch, cable strap, sticker and mic box. 

 If you demand a quality working SM-58 to use daily...look no further.
