REFRET Vintage Teisco TG-64 1960’s VIDEO DEMO
CHECK OUT VIDEO DEMO!!
Vintage Teisco that’s already has frets! This is one of the better playing teiscos you’ll come across. Trem system actually works really well and has pretty solid tuning stability. The neck feels nice all the switches work (even the rocker switches!). This guitar has TONS of cool sound options with the combinations of each pickup Plus the bass cut switch. In addition Once the bass cut switch is active it now makes the middle pickup out of phase with the other pickups and the tone control actually works as a bass cut knob! Super super cool wiring and perfect for all kinds of funky thin sounds. Intonation is actually really good too! The pickups are microphonic but not as bad as other teiscos I have. Depending on your setup you might need these potted for live use, but I’ve personally played live with more microphonic pickups. Action can get as low as you need! The only issues are that the truss rod is as loose as it will go and there’s a tiny amount of upbow, I don’t really notice this or have bends fret out but it’s something I should mention. Also on the back of the headstock there is a crack. The previous owner Said when they got it refretted they had the luthier put a lot of pressure on it and it was totally fine. That has been my experience too but again this is important to know. Because of the vintage nature of this instrument and the issues I mentioned this is sold as is! will be shipped in gig bag
