For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this vintage Gibson Skylark (Serial No. 2890), a collectible small-format Gibson amplifier from the late 1950s to early 1960s.

Revered for its warm, expressive tone and simple, straightforward design, the Skylark captures the character and feel of classic low-watt tube circuits while offering a distinctive Gibson voice. Compact and articulate, it excels in studio, practice, or small-room settings, delivering everything players love about vintage tube amps in a beautifully crafted, minimalist package.

This example is in good cosmetic condition, showing age-appropriate wear throughout that speaks to a life spent in music rather than neglect. Functionally, the amp is excellent thanks to a recent service, which included replacement of several capacitors (originals included with the sale) and a new grounded power cord. The amp sounds fantastic, with clear cleans, warm breakup, and the classic touch-sensitive feel that makes vintage low-watt tube amps so rewarding to play.

Internally, the amp retains its original transformers and is fitted with a Mojo AV8C speaker, which pairs beautifully with the circuit to deliver balanced, resonant tone across the frequency spectrum. The cabinet is solid and well-constructed, maintaining the timeless look and feel of a vintage Gibson combo. Altogether, this Skylark delivers the warmth, clarity, and responsive character that collectors and players alike seek in a small-format vintage tube amplifier.
