One of only 130 Blonde Murphy Lab 1958 335's made.  These Murphy reissues feature outstanding craftsmanship and the aging is authentic just as you would expect.  If you have played these in local music stores where they retail for $7999, you may have noticed two things that could be better though.    First they are produced with the fret size typical to 1958, tall and skinny, which is not very player friendly.  I had this guitar re-fretted by luthier extraordinaire Billy Penn of 300 guitars with wire that specs out at .095 wide and .045 tall, making it significantly more comfortable to play, also a bone nut was used.  The second thing that makes these somewhat uncomfortable to play is the excessive and deep checking on the back of the neck which results in a very rough and sticky feel.  This guitar has had the checked finish carefully removed and blended into the headstock, then color matched to the remaining finish and linseed oil treated for a totally velvet like feel.  The C profile neck now feels super comfortable to play and measures out at:
1st fret - .910

5th fret - .970

9th fret - .990

12th fret - 1.008

Nice and light it weighs in at 7lbs 14oz on my digital scale.  The unpotted Custom Buckers with Alnico 3 magnets sound awesome, this guitar is totally set up to be played and needs nothing at all.  Comes with all original tags and case candy and the original brown Lifton case.  Carefully packed for safe delivery.  Also on Facebook Marketplace and for sale locally.  You can come play it in person in Middletown NJ.
