Pete A. Flynn PAF Humbuckers 2025 - Double White

If you have done your research on these PAF replicas, they are exactly as advertised and reviewed. PAF tone to the bone. Pete is obsessed with recreating the mojo tone that original PAFs have. I have a new 2025 Beauty of the Burst R9 with exposed double cream custom buckers. I wanted a set of PAF replicas that have the antique white color to give that R9 more of an original look. I contacted Pete and discussed the color of his cream bobbins vs. the antique white. He explained how the original bobbins were white and the color aged over time. He chose this antique white color to be as close as possible to “the look” an original double white PAF as you might see it today. As for the windings etc., I asked him for his “Duane Allman" PAF formula. I did install them and I was very impressed with the tone and the look. It was perfect. However, I decided to put the original double cream custom buckers back in that R9 because I plan to sell that guitar. I did not cut the leads on these pickups and I did remove the solder I used.
