API 1608 - 16 Channel Console

Badass API 1608 16 Channel Recording and Mix Console. More pictures to come, just getting it listed for now. Only selling it because we bought a giant new API Legacy console and now we're broke! Everything works and we will post a testing report showing proper levels on each input, all the summing busses and aux returns. All 16 channels are full of SL Red Dot 2520 Op Amps. Absolutely love them and they have been bulletproof with no failures. They are more warm and crunchy then the stock 2520s and have been installed for over 10 years. No EQ's are included since those went into the new console. All 500 slots have the correct jumper cards and slot covers installed so they function just like normal and pass audio. Power supply is on point and very clean inside with no dust and good filters. The sale includes the console, the power supply and power supply cable and four 8 channel snake cable to allow sending line level signals to the console for mixing as well as bringing back the line level signals from each channel's direct out back to your audio interface, they are DB25 to XLR cables. Also included are two DB25 cables for jumping into the 8 summing buses and the original service and operating manuals and various extra 2520 DOAs. We will also include the matching API colored desk that it sits on. Microphones, DI signals and monitors can plug directly into the console. We did operate it with a redco DB25 patchbay and that worked great and long term that is the way to go to use all the crazy features like inserts and whatnot. The main stereo outputs are simple XLRs. I would say that I could probably deliver this thing up to about 3 or 4 hours away and help with the setup. It weighs around 260 pounds! Console Testing:

Injecting a 1kHz 0VU signal from the built in oscillator showed 0VU into all 16 line inputs and back out each direct output. All 8 summing busses on all 16 channel strips sent a full 0VU to each bus output and then back into the inputs. All 16 channels sent a full 0VU signal to each of the 8 aux sends. Applying a 0VU mic input signal worked on all 16 mic preamps. We did find that channel 7's Summing Bus #2 button works but wouldn't stay latched in. We will get that fixed up.
