B.BeatX is ideal for live performances with stereo sequences or up to 16 tracks, including videos, lyrics, and images.

• IT PLAYS BACKING TRACKS AND VIDEOS WITH LYRICS AND SCORES, HAS A 2-IN/8-OUT SOUND CARD, AND MANAGES PLAYLISTS AND SHOWS.
• B.BeatX reads and plays music files in WAV, Multitrack Audio, Stems, MIDI, MP4, MOV, and JPG formats. You can use Backing Tracks for up to 16 mono or 8 stereo tracks. B.BeatX can store a large number of Backing Tracks. It has a VIDEO output for streaming videos synchronized to the music or lyrics for the on-stage prompter. You can upload scores and view them on wirelessly connected smart devices. B.BeatX has a digital mixer for adjusting the 16 audio tracks, the 8 separate outputs, the click, and headphone management. Remote control via app via wireless or cable, MIDI Clock send. When used standalone, B.BeatX can be controlled remotely via an app running on tablets and smartphones. Alternatively, it can be "controlled" by the connected B.Beat via a LAN connection.
• DIGITAL MIXER
• B.BeatX includes a digital mixer to manage 16 tracks across 8 separate outputs, 2 inputs, a headphone output for the Click*, the return from the Mixer, and the Backing Tracks. The 8 outputs can be used to send the Backing Tracks to the stage mixer. A stereo or mono audio signal from any source can be fed back to B.Beat via the 2 available inputs. B.Beat also recognizes the Click track and can route it to any of the 8 available outputs and simultaneously to the headphone output*. When the headphone output with 4 potentiometers is activated, the musician can adjust the balance of the headphones in real time during the performance.
• *When the headphone output is activated, it uses two audio channels, so the available outputs become 6 throughout the performance.
• The 6 outputs can send the backing tracks to the stage mixer.
• A stereo or mono audio signal from any source can be fed back to B.Beat through the two inputs. B.Beat also recognizes the Click track and can route it to any of the 6 available outputs and simultaneously to the headphone output.
• B.BEAT EXPANSION
• B.BeatX can work in sync with B.Beat and B.Beat Pro16. This means that if you use B.Beat + B.BeatX, you can build audio projects with up to 32 mono tracks (or 16 stereo) and use 6 + 8 audio outputs for a single project, for a total of 14 outputs. Furthermore, the two VIDEO outputs on the two machines allow you to have a Video track and a Prompter track (Prompter for Lyrics).
• If you use B.BeatX in combination with B.Beat pro16, you can have 16+16 audio tracks managed across 24 audio outputs.
• SOUND CARD
• B.BeatX includes a fully-fledged 8-out, 2-in sound card, compatible with Windows and iOS using our drivers available here. This card allows you to use a digitally connected PC alongside B.BeatX, routing the outputs of the various B.BeatX tracks exactly as you would in a DAW. This feature is extremely useful during sound checks and in the rehearsal room, before transferring the backing tracks from the DAW directly to B.Beat.
• B.BEATX ON STAGE
• B.BeatX was designed for maximum reliability during LIVE performances. There's a dedicated button on the [LIVE] remote control panel that can be used once the show begins, because from that moment on, the B.Beat processor will be busy ensuring maximum performance without wasting resources. This minimizes the risk of accidental crashes and protects the user from operating errors.
• B.BeatX has a Sync system for use in conjunction with Auto Switch systems that prevent stopping in the event of a crash.
• VIDEO OUTPUT
• B.BeatX has a video output, because on stage it's often necessary to have a video wall accompanying musical performances. The same output can be used to display song lyrics, such as a teleprompter. Sheet music can be uploaded as PDFs, and each instrument on stage can have its own score. The score can be viewed wirelessly on a smart device.
• ORGANIZE THE PERFORMANCE
• B.BeatX manages individual Backing Tracks that can be organized into convenient Playlists or into full-fledged Shows composed of multiple Scenes of various types. Projects can contain Music, Videos, and Images, as well as MIDI tracks to send messages to the various devices used for live performances. The philosophy behind B.Beat is to simplify the management of backing tracks and videos during a show. With B.BeatX, there's no need to bring computers, tablets, sound and video cards, cables, or mixers onto the stage.
• PREPARING B.BEAT FOR THE SHOW
• Create your backing tracks with your DAW, and once you're finished in the recording studio, you're ready to transfer the music to B.BeatX. To do this, an app called B.Beat Manager is included, which runs on Windows PCs and Mac. With the Manager, you can assign outputs to the various tracks and complete the editing process by adjusting the volume as desired. If you've synced the videos to the music, you can upload everything to B.Beat.
• METRONOME AND CLICK
• B.BeatX has a dedicated Metronome section. You can easily manage a metronome directly on stage. The metronome's audio click can be output to one of the 8 outputs, and simultaneously to the headphone output, if configured. The same thing happens with the click when recorded on the backing tracks. When the click track is present in the multitrack backing tracks, it is recognized and sent to a separate output and the headphones.
• SONG SERVICE WEBSITE
• B.BeatX can read files in MTA (Multitrack Audio) format produced and distributed by M-Live via the Song Service website. MTA files are multitrack files that B.Beat plays as 8 stereo tracks. The Backing Tracks are organized as follows: Track 1 Drums, Track 2 Bass, Track 3 Guitar, Track 4 Keyboards, Track 5 Orchestra, Track 6 Wind Instruments, Track 7 Click, Track 8 Melody. Audio projects with 16 separate stereo tracks are also available, which can be freely adapted to B.Beat with any DAW.
