• B.BEAT PLAYS BACKING TRACKS IN VIDEO SYNCH, HAS A BUILT-IN MIXER, AND MANAGES PLAYLISTS AND SHOWS
• B.BEAT reads and plays music files in WAV, multitrack audio, stems, MIDI, MP4, MOV, and JPG formats. You can use Backing Tracks from MP3 files to full-fledged multitrack audio projects from DAWs, with up to 16 mono or 8 stereo tracks. B.BEAT can store a large number of Backing Tracks. Backing Tracks can be synchronized to a video (or images) that will be transmitted to a video wall via the HDMI output. It has a mixer to adjust the various audio tracks, the 6 separate outputs, and the channels that go to headphones, such as the Click.
• INTEGRATED DIGITAL MIXER
• B.BEAT includes a digital mixer to manage 6 separate outputs, two inputs, a headphone output for the Click, the return from the Mixer, and the Backing tracks. With 4 convenient knobs, the musician can balance in real time what they want to hear in the headphones during the performance. The 6 outputs can send the tracks that make up the Backing Tracks to the stage mixer. A stereo or mono audio signal from any source can be returned to B.Beat through the two inputs. Furthermore, B.Beat recognizes the Click track and can route it to any of the 6 available outputs and simultaneously to the headphone output.
• B.BEAT ON STAGE
• B.Beat was designed for maximum reliability during LIVE performances. There is a dedicated button on the [LIVE] panel that can be used when the show begins, because from that moment on, B.Beat's processor will be busy ensuring maximum performance without wasting resources. This minimizes the risk of involuntary crashes and prevents the user from activating functions by mistake.
• ORGANIZE THE PERFORMANCE
• B.Beat manages individual Backing Tracks that can be organized into convenient Playlists, or into actual Shows composed of multiple Scenes of various types. Projects can contain Music, Video, and Images, as well as MIDI tracks to send messages to the various devices used for the live performance. The philosophy that inspired B.Beat is to simplify the management of Backing Tracks and Video during a show. With B.Beat, there's no need to bring computers, tablets, sound and video cards, cables, or mixers onto the stage: B.Beat solves this problem in just a few square centimeters and 600 grams. Heavy.
• PREPARING B.BEAT FOR THE SHOW
• Create your backing tracks with your DAW, and once you've finished your work in the recording studio, you're ready to transfer the music to B.Beat. To do this, an app called B.Beat Manager is included, which runs on Windows and Mac PCs. With the Manager, you can assign outputs to the various tracks and complete the editing process by adjusting the volumes as desired. If you've synced a video to the music, you can upload it to B.Beat and manage it along with the backing tracks, or you can manage videos and images separately from the music.
• USING B.BEAT WITH A USB STICK
• If you have MP3 backing tracks that you want to simply upload to B.Beat without going through your PC, you can use a USB stick and quickly transfer the files to the internal memory, or you can play them directly from the stick.
• METRONOME AND CLICK
• B.Beat has a dedicated Metronome section. You can easily manage a metronome directly on stage. The metronome's audio click can be output to one of the six outputs, and simultaneously sent to the drummer's headphones. The same thing happens with the click when recorded on the backing tracks. When the click track is present in the multitrack backing tracks, it is recognized and sent to a separate output and the headphones.
• SONG SERVICE SITE
• B.Beat can read MTA (Multitrack Audio) format files produced and distributed by M-Live via the Song Service site. MTA files are multitracks that B.Beat reads as 8 stereo tracks. The Backing Tracks are organized as follows: • Track 1 Drums, • Track 2 Bass, • Track 3 Guitar, • Track 4 Keyboards, • Track 5 Orchestra, • Track 6 Wind Instruments, • Track 7 Click, • Track 8 Melody. Audio projects with 16 separate stereo tracks are also available, which can be freely adapted to B.Beat with any DAW.
