The Martin 000-42 Modern Deluxe captures the spirit of Martin’s Golden Era while delivering a refined, contemporary playing experience. Its 000 body offers a beautifully balanced voice, blending warmth, clarity, and shimmering overtones that respond effortlessly to both delicate fingerstyle and expressive strumming. Crafted with a VTS-treated spruce top and Golden Era–style Adirondack spruce X-bracing, it evokes the open, resonant character of a well-loved vintage instrument, while natural protein glue construction, a lightweight carbon fiber bridge plate, and liquidmetal bridge pins enhance sustain, responsiveness, and projection. Every note feels alive and detailed, making this a guitar that rewards nuance and musical touch.

Modern Deluxe appointments elevate both performance and visual elegance. EVO gold frets and a subtly asymmetrical neck provide smooth, modern comfort, while European flamed maple binding, gold open-gear tuners, and stunning pearl inlay throughout the top and headstock create an unmistakably luxurious presence. The result is an instrument that seamlessly blends old-world tone with forward-thinking design, offering inspiring sound, effortless playability, and heirloom-level beauty for players who want something truly special, available at Haggerty’s Music.
