For Sale, we have a bold piece of low-end artillery: the Fernandes Monterey Bass in classic gloss black. With its unmistakable singlecut silhouette—think Les Paul with an edge—and sleek cream binding, this bass doesn’t just stand out, it leans into its rock pedigree. The signature Fernandes headstock tops off a neck that’s loaded with unique reverse split trapezoid inlays, giving this bass both flash and finesse.

This one’s set up for serious work. The EMG pickups are punchy and clear, offering that tight modern response with the clarity needed to cut through a mix. The high-mass bridge and tailpiece setup keeps your tone focused and your sustain long. Set neck construction rounds out the package, giving you great access and resonance without the bulk or dampening of a bolt-on. Whether you’re laying down thick grooves or digging in with a pick, it’s got the goods.

The bass is clean and shows only light signs of use in the form of light scratches on the back of the body. The rest of the bass is relatively unscathed, and the back of the neck is entirely free from wear. The frets have been polished to a high shine, the electronics are functioning well, the neck feels smooth and solid, and it comes ready to go in a Fernandes-branded hard shell case. Please note that the case shows some damage on the lower right corner near the logo, but otherwise closes and protects the bass perfectly with all latches functioning.
