Lovies guitars San Diego is offering up a gorgeous Collings OM-2H guitar. Let me just start by saying. DAMN…. I have not wanted to keep a guitar that has come into the shop this bad in a long time. Picked up this guitar in to test it out and just got sucked into a 5 hour jam. Just one of the most fantatstic intsturments I have put my hands on. This is one of the first Collings guitars in the shop and I am absouluty hooked. If am going to offer any buyer FREE return (I will pay for Label) shipping if they are not completly thrilled with the tone and playability of this beauty. This guitar has an awesome vibe! Just get carried away by the sweet tunes. Really versatile and rich sounding guitar that really has a warm sound throughout the entire spectrum. No issues at all. Frets are like new. Barely played and ready to go. This guitar is in FANTASTIC shape. Just a couple tiny marks and squiggels. There is a dark line where the two pices of spruce come together on the top. Not an issue! All original. SEE many images below!! Includes Original Hard case. Tons of pics below!

'OM' stands for "Orchestra Model," but 80 years after this body shape was first designed it has become the most popular 14-fret model with fingerstyle guitar soloists who choose to play on steel strings. Yet flatpickers also find it appealing, and when the graceful cutaway is added these OMs are often used by lead players who routinely explore all 20 frets much as they would on an electric guitar. The compact shape makes the Collings OM equally easy to handle onstage or when sitting on the couch, and the relatively shallow body (barely over 4 inches deep) results in balanced tone and an immediate response.
Standard Features Include:
Select sitka spruce top
East Indian rosewood back and sides
Cross-cut grained ivoroid and wood nitrate strip rosette
Grained ivoroid top/back body binding
Herringbone trim with matching 2-style backstrip

Tortoise-style celluloid pickguard
High gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish
Mahogany neck
Square headstock with volute
15 degree headstock angle
Ebony peghead overlay with inlaid Collings logo
