This is an Applied Research & Technology (ART) MDC 2001 Stereo Master Dynamic Controller, in excellent shape. It's a 1 unit rack-mount piece with ears. It still works well. You get what you would expect from a dynamics processor: a compressor, a de-esser, an ex-pander, a noise gate, an exciter, and a peak limiter/clipper. Plus, there are two "detector" circuits with insert points that allow for some interesting effects. Lots to like in a very compact package.
Service History: No service records were included from the prior owner. Here at the shop we did routine testing, cleaning and inspection.
Cosmetic Condition: Overall we rated this as Excellent.
