Hi, if you have been shopping for a Jimmie Vaughan Strat, please give this one a good look. It is probably as close to being in mint condition as a used guitar can be. The pickups were upgraded to Fender custom shop Texas-Specials, (which is what his brother Stevie Ray was known to have favored) and sound great. She also comes with a very nice G&G Fender tweed hard case too, as these guitars originally just shipped with a gig bag. The guitar looks and plays wonderfully, and the upgrades are what most players would probably add later on their own when able. The serial number indicates it's an older model, but I know from experience Fender was very loose with the Vaughan models numbers, so I am sure it's actually a lot newer. The guitar weighs in at a comfortable 7lbs. 11 ounces, so not a back breaker at all. Anyway, it's a beautiful Strat, and the Jimmie Vaughan Artist series are highly respected for their overall quality and playability. Thank for looking.
