1955 Jensen P12Q 12" 40 Watt 8 Ohm Speaker Original Cone Rare

Here's a super rare original P12Q Jensen 12" speaker. Features its original cone and is functional. The speaker has been briefly tested sonically and for coil rub. It exhibits some small cracks along the rim edge as well as some failing rim glue and a missing dust cap. It should be repaired prior to use to avoid further damage. I've done the least amount of testing and handling necessary due to this reason. Again please understand this is a very fragile 70 year old speaker. Sold completely as is. These original cones are the only way to get that perfect sound. They never sound this good reconed. I'd recommend a good speaker repair person to repair it rather than reconing. From online sources these are rated at 40 watts but due to age and these being very fragile speakers I wouldn't push it that hard. Came originally from an early 50s 18 watt Gibson 2x12 amplifier so its never been pushed hard. Can ship worldwide. These are rare as hens teeth in any condition. Don't miss out.
