Sound Workshop 34c 34 stereo sidecar console 8 channels plug and play

Hello 34C owners. I have a one of a kind 8 stereo channel sidecar for sale. The channels were custom made for Jan Hammer in the early 90’s. Probably the most stereo channels ever made. I recently sold my 34C and the new owner physically could not fit the side car In his control room. I purchased the channels 20 years ago. I fabricated the side car frame with original series 34 legs, aluminum cheeks, and shorted a frame I found into this little console. I even custom made an armrest with the same wood dimensions as the original. Here is the cool part. You also get an aluminum cheek with holes to replace your consoles cheek. (The deal includes you sending yours back to me, as you will not need it.)

The stereo sidecar mates to the wiring harness of your console without no modification needed. No soldering required. All connecting harnesses are included. Also included is a vca automation card for these channels and the cables to connect it under your console.

Everything works and has for 20 years. I ran diskmix to mix a record last week before moving the man console out.

All Inputs and outputs are wired with high quality proco wire to a switchcraft TT patchbay that has enough wire to mount the stereo side car to the left of your console and the patchbay on the right side. (With a little swamping around of Frame parts you could attach this to a left patchbay console as well.)

The stereo modules are dual stereo inputs (A/B). 8 buss, Left, right, or both, made mono to both outs, eq, cue, aux 1and2, afl or pfl solo, I’m sure Jan used them for keyboards. I always used them for parallel processing during mix. Drum Buss, Guitar, Buss, Plate reverbs.
