FEATURES:

1. Compressor/Expander Function- The CE-1 is primarily a compressor/expander unit — meaning it can even out signal dynamics (compression) or increase dynamic range (expansion), useful for controlling sustain and attack in guitar or line-level signals.

2. Gain/Level Controls- It includes a level or input gain control which also interacts with the compression threshold — adjusting how much signal is compressed or expanded based on input strength.

3. Instrument vs Line Input Sensitivity- It apparently has a switch or control to adapt the input level for instrument-level vs line-level signals, allowing use with guitar directly or other audio gear with appropriate settings.

4. Half-Rack Form Factor- The CE-1 is a half-rack unit — standard 1U high but narrower than full width, intended for rack rigs or pedal boards with rack mounts.
