Old Blood Noise Endeavors Excess V2 Distorting Modulator – New

The Old Blood Noise Endeavors Excess V2 is a bold, character-rich distortion and modulation hybrid, inspired by the unmistakable textures of the 1980s and refined with modern flexibility. At its core, Excess pairs a powerful distortion circuit with your choice of delay, chorus, or harmonized fifths, creating everything from gritty rhythmic drive to shimmering, warped modulation.

Version 2 introduces expanded routing and switching options, allowing you to run distortion into modulation, modulation into distortion, or both effects in parallel. Independent soft-touch footswitches make live performance intuitive, while an expression input lets you dynamically control modulation rate, depth, or both.

Excess V2 is equally at home crafting aggressive synth-like tones, nostalgic new-wave textures, or experimental sound design—making it a standout tool for players who want distortion with movement and personality.
