At Tone Tailors, we’re all about the rare and the refined. That’s why we’re incredibly excited to feature the Strymon Olivera—a pedal that captures the "ghost in the machine" of the legendary 1960s oil can echo units.

Long before digital delay or even tape loops were the standard, these strange electromechanical devices used a rotating can of conductive fluid to create a sound that is entirely its own. The Olivera isn’t just a digital recreation; it is a meticulously engineered tribute to that syrupy, murky, and beautifully imperfect vibe.

Why It’s "Tailored" for Your Rig:

If you’ve ever felt that standard digital delays are too "crisp" or tape echoes are too "bouncy," the Olivera is your answer. It lives in the dark, atmospheric spaces in between. Whether you’re looking for a haunting slapback or a liquid, modulated wash that feels like it’s melting into your amp, the Olivera brings a "lo-fi high-fidelity" experience to your board that is impossible to ignore.

Key Features:

• Vintage Oil Can Mojo: Powered by an all-new algorithm, the Olivera captures the unique "sag" and band-limited frequency response of vintage Tel-Rey units. It’s dark, it’s thick, and it’s undeniably vibey.
• Three-Way Head Switch: Choose your texture. Select the Short head for rhythmic slapbacks, the Long head for expansive ambient trails, or Both to unlock a rhythmic, multi-tap "gallop" that adds instant complexity to your lines.
• Liquid Modulation: Use the Rate and Intensity controls to dial in the characteristic warble of a rotating disc. At lower settings, it adds a subtle "chorus-like" movement; crank it up for a wild, psychedelic flutter.
• Modern Power in a Compact Box: Don't let the vintage sound fool you. The Olivera features a discrete Class A JFET preamp, full MIDI integration with 300 presets, and Stereo I/O capabilities—making it just as home in a professional studio as it is on a touring pedalboard.
