Old Blood Noise Endeavors BL-44 Reverse Variable Clock Effect Pedal – New

The Old Blood Noise Endeavors BL-44 is a real-time reverse delay built around OBNE’s experimental BL (Black Label) series. Unlike traditional reverse effects that rely on fixed buffers, the BL-44 continuously plays back your incoming signal in reverse, creating fluid, unpredictable textures that react instantly to your performance.

At the core of the BL-44 is variable clock control. By manipulating the system clock, you can dramatically change both delay time and audio fidelity—ranging from tight, fast reversals to slow, smeared, lo-fi textures with audible degradation. This clock manipulation gives the BL-44 its signature sound: expressive, unstable, and deeply musical.

Despite its minimal control layout, the BL-44 is capable of a wide range of sounds, from subtle reverse ambience to warped, broken tape-style effects that feel alive under your hands. It excels at experimental textures, ambient layers, and unconventional rhythmic effects.

Features:

• Real-time reverse delay (continuous playback, not loop-based)
• Variable clock control for delay time and fidelity
• Ranges from clean, fast reversals to degraded, lo-fi textures
• Compact and performance-friendly layout
• Part of OBNE’s experimental Black Label (BL) series

Requires 9V DC center-negative power (power supply not included).
