This is a PRS style electric guitar (one of several) I built years ago to celebrate the New Orleans Saints Super Bowl win. After the team started out poorly I pulled this one out of my guitar room to play at a gig the night before the first game against the Panthers. I even joked with the band members it might help them win - and they DID. I continued playing it for gigs after that and they continued to win. I don't have a gig before the next game against the Falcons so a Saints fan out there can be the one to have it and I'll play one of my other Saints guitars in the living room. The body is Alder and the gold top is Poplar. The pickups are Blizzard of 59 PAF style which I like for classic 60s and 70s tone. The neck is Maple and Padauk. The 22 fret 25.5 inch scale fingerboard is Poplar died black inspired by the Saints black and gold. The guitar is in pretty good shape after years of touring in the deep South and the constant war between cold and dry air and hot and muggy weather. The paint job is no longer pristine but it plays great for classic rock. The listing is restricted to the lower 48 states. Please feel free to ask questions and make me an offer I can't refuse.
